This Calgary wedding took place in beautiful September this year, right in the middle of downtown. It was a very intimate ceremony attended by close friends and family. The ceremony took place in a John Fluevog store and the reception took place the The Guild. We missed the rain during their couple shoot which I was happy about and got some beautiful photos under the archways and in the bustling streets of downtown. Enjoy the photos!View full post »
My friend Carly and her fiance organized this Calgary wedding in just about a weeks time and I think they did an amazing job! They referred to this day as being Wedding 1.0. They plan to have a bigger wedding, where many more friends and family members will be able to join. The wedding took place on the jetty at the Glenmore Reservoire in Calgary. It was pretty surreal although I was a little bit nervous about moving about on the jetty. After the ceremony took place, I snapped a couple ofView full post »
This was such a special birthday party as it was a first for Alexis, as she turned one! It was bustling with busy babies and parents. I loved the decor and all the effort that Lisa went to in order to make sure that the day was perfect! Lisa baked both cakes and decorated the white cake (gorgeous!). Her family and herself all put a joint effort into the balloon arch. Here are just a few highlights and special moments from her birthday party.

I met with this lovely couple at Princes Island in Calgary for their engagement shoot. Talk about a amazing backdrop for a couple shoot and some crazy aggressive Canadian geese! The light was just unbelievably beautiful and of course Reannon and Nathan were awesome to work with! I loved Reannon’s vintage style, her red lips, beautiful 50 styles dress and her colourful tattoos. That paired with Nathan’s simple but yet very stylish suit, made for a great combination.View full post »
Melissa and her beautiful family came all the way from Red Deer for a shoot on a nice summer morning shoot at Confederation Park. They are all incredibly photogenic!View full post »
Gretha’s parents were visiting them in Calgary, all the way from South Africa so it only made sense for them to have a family shoot with the grandparents joining in. It was a lovely shoot with the whole family! I love the simplicity of confederation park and all the little spots where you can take photographs for a family shoot. Enjoy the photos of this beautiful family!View full post »
Rachel wanted to surprise her husband with some photos of their children, Theron and Lenore for father’s day. It was a quick little shoot in the backyard with these two cuties.View full post »
This couple was amazing. So in-love and so easy going! We headed on over to Fish Creek Provincial Park for this shoot and we were able to walk around the Bow Ranch restaurant grounds. It was such a beautiful day and I loved capturing the genuine love between this lovely pair.View full post »
My friends Joey & Darek donned their wedding attire for me and posed in the lovely green forest of Fish Creek Provincial Creek. There were threats of rain made by the clouds and I was prepared with umbrellas but being Alberta, nothing happened. We did get that lovely soft box effect that overcast weather gives. Don’t you just love the red hair and blue eyes combination? Well Joey has just that! They are so darn cute and lovely!
